How It Works

The process of organizing your work space begins with a needs assessment where we look at your environment and learn about your priorities, requirements, habits, and style. We then do the following:

  • Design and Present the Organizing Plan – A clear written description of how we recommend organizing your space and systems to work with your unique requirements.

  • Adjust the Plan to Fit Your Requests – We consult with you to make whatever modifications you request to match your objectives.

  • Implement the Plan – We then work with you side by side to sort through all of your paper and other items to determine what you need and don't need to accomplish your work.

Training

Research shows that people spend an average of eight minutes per hour looking for the things they need. Files, contact information, research materials, memos and other items all get lost among the onslaught of paperwork that crosses their desk. That means that out of an eight hour day, one hour is wasted time.

To help your staff be more efficient, productive, and professional, you'll want to schedule Organize Enterprise's in-house training workshop. It's a four hour workshop that teaches your staff how to organize their own space to be more efficient and productive. They'll learn to process documents, communications, tasks, ideas, and anything else necessary to get their work done. In addition, they'll learn to master the skills of prioritizing, discarding, delegating, streamlining their work, handling interruptions, avoiding procrastination, prompt filing, and much more. Why is it important to offer this training?

Our research shows that a typical employee spends an average of eight minutes out of every hour looking for the things they need to perform their work. It’s usually spent in one minute here, two minutes there, 30 seconds here and there. That means that in the course of an eight hour work day one hour is just wasted looking for the tools and documents you need.  That is equivalent to over six weeks of work per year that a team member is being paid for but not producing.  Multiply that by the number of members on your corporate team at the average hourly rate and you’ll see it is a significant amount.
